The South End NRZ held the first community carnival on Memorial Day Weekend of 2005. 
 

The South End NRZ in collaboration with CTE Inc. hosted the Community Book Fair on October 9, 2004 during the Stamford Achieves weeks.
 

The South  End Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

 For many years Francis Gerety a South End Resident and NRZ member has continually planned and coordinated the Christmas Tree Lighting at St. Lukes  located on 8 Woodland Place. 

This event is a small joyous occasion for the community children to listen to storytelling and to mingle with their friends.
